These points can get you free nights at some of the nicest Marriott Properties in the country! Here are five of my favorites.

 

1. Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

This hotel is a Category 8 property costing between 35,000 and 40,000 points per night. With the signup bonus, you will be able to stay here for two nights for free with points left over! This hotel is located between two beaches on Maui in Hawaii — a beautifully serene property!

 

2. The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

Marriott points can be used to book Ritz-Carlton hotels, too, and this one is a gorgeous property! Ritz-Carlton properties are on a different category system than regular Marriott hotels. You will see different tiers quoted instead of categories. The Ritz Hong Kong is a Tier 5 property and will run you 60,000 to 70,000 points per night. The signup bonus will offer you one night for free with some points left over!

Housed in a 19th-century neoclassical building, this hotel in Barcelona is a Category 8 property and will cost you between 35,000 and 40,000 points per night. This hotel is in a great location in Barcelona – only a five-minute walk from the nearest metro station and a 10-minute walk from Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Batlló, an absolute must see in the city!
